I am thrilled to report that the longest part of our journey is now over and we are in Vero Beach, Florida. We are at a mooring and now we just have to wait for the right weather window to cross over to the Bahamas. The north wind that blew from behind us to make the trip easy is now working against us. We have to wait for the north winds to diminish and clock to a more favorable direction. Unfortunately the predictions for that to happen are dim right now but you can never tell. The weather now is very warm during the day and delightfully cool at night.
Will continue this blog later...Simon needs to go to the park to play with all the other dogs..
